Deut 8:3, NLT
Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Pray that the Mughals would begin to desire the true spiritual Bread of Life, Jesus Christ.

The Mughal People

by DK

What if your ancestry included royalty who ruled the land for over four centuries? The Mughals claim to be descendants of Babur who conquered northern India in 1526. The Mughal emperors did rule over much of India for over 400 years. The great majority of the Mughal people today live in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India. Many of them also live in northern India near the Nepalese border, though some live in Kashmir. Their main language is Urdu.
Those who live in the country are usually farmers. In cities Mughals engage in trade, handicrafts, and carpet weaving. Some live in poverty.
As far as we know, Mughals are 100 percent Muslims, both Sunni and Shi’ite. They marry within their clans. They adhere to sharia law with respect to marriage, divorce, remarriage, and the inheritance of property. Most Mughals have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel in their cultural context.
