Revelation 3:15, 18-19 RSV
I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot. ... Those whom I love, I reprove and chasten; so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

Intercessor, Jesus is your only source of pure love. You can’t cook up love for him on your own. So invite him in and have a love feast! Let him drown you in his love! That way you can love your neighbor as yourself!

Pray that Jesus will send believers who are overflowing with rivers of living water to the Kaikolan people!

Kaikolan People

by KH

This is one of many legends of the Kaikolan people: Sanjay crept quietly as a tiger through dense underbrush watching the foreign hunters in his homeland. His people were very angry that the intruders had returned. He thought, “I will have to cut off the tail of the beast they are hunting; that will get rid of them!”
Kaikolan people number approximately 2,500,000, and are only found in India. Kaikolans are an extended family oriented, male led social unit, answering to an elder group of decision makers. They are considered a “backward caste,” and educationally disadvantaged. They work in the cotton and textile industries. They are more than 99 percent Hindu. Yet spiritism, magic, ancestor worship and animistic worship are evident. Shamans, healers, and magicians provide contact with spirits. There are few Jesus followers and Muslims, perhaps due to the large cities located near them.
The Kaikolan heart language is Tamil. Audio and visual resources such as the JESUS Film, radio broadcasts, and the audio Bible are most effective, since the majority of these people cannot read. There are many Tamil believers and even Tamil missionaries.

Pray that Tamil speaking followers of Christ and their families will seek out the family oriented Kaikolan people. Pray that they will see their desperate need for the loving savior who has provided a way to join his holy family forever. Pull down centuries old strongholds that continue to hold these people in bondage.
