Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.

In a way, the Tanaolis are a people that we can pity. Their lack of forgiveness is their own undoing, and they are heading towards a Christ-less eternity without forgiveness from the Father. How will this change? It won’t happen by arguments. It must be a work of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to move in Tanaoli communities, giving them a desire to forgive and to be forgiven for their sins.

Tanaoli People

by LMR

The Tanaoli people look like Europeans with their fair skin, hazel/blue eyes, brown hair, and reddish beards. But their roots are deep in the mountainous regions of northern Pakistan, one of the world’s most challenging locations to access. They are from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Some believe this tribe is descended from the Arab conqueror, Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, and to them, knowing their ancestors are very important.
The Tanaolis are considered extremely hostile, as well as the area’s best swordsmen. Like the Pathans, the British classified the Tanaolis as a part of a “martial” race because they were believed to be more militarily inclined than other tribes. While they turn from vices such as debauchery, they are reputed to be obstinate and unforgiving. They have undoubtedly suffered great losses between the latest fighting and flooding.
There are a total of 644,000 people in the Tanaoli tribe, but they can be divided into two major sub tribes: the northern mountainous Pallals and southern plains Hindwal. They speak Northern Hindko. The Tanaolis support themselves mainly through agriculture. Unleavened bread is their staple food. Dress and appearance is important to them.
The Tanaoli are Sunni Muslim, and are among the least reached peoples in the world; the gospel has not touched them yet. There is no Scripture translation or any form of outreach to them: literature, audio, video or otherwise.
