Proverbs 3:27
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back later; I’ll give it tomorrow”—When you now have it with you.

For the past 2,000 years, the gospel has been available to be preached, but the workers have been few. Many breakthroughs in technology and transportation have made it possible to get this life-changing message to people in remote areas. Ships, airplanes, films, radio, and the Internet are all great tools, but many people are still out of reach. Do we have any excuse to withhold this great message? Or is it just a lack of concern?

Pray that we will do what it takes to give the good news to unreached people groups who deserve a chance to enter His Kingdom.

Radio Broadcasts for the Fulbe

by KC

The boredom of watching the goats finally ended for Umaru! A program came on his radio in a Fulbe dialect called, “The way of righteousness.” He couldn’t believe his ears when he heard that man can know for sure that his sins could be forgiven before a holy and righteous God. How could that be? He heard about Isa, also called Jesus. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me… .” This prophet was calling the Creator His father? Isa said that He Himself was the way to God. Umaru decided to put his faith in what Isa said.

Umaru had discovered a radio broadcast in the Bitiinkoore dialect, which is understood by many of the Fulbe people. These broadcasts are for evangelism, but they also give an excellent overview of the whole biblical narrative, which is very helpful for the few believers.

Radio is an excellent tool for the Fulbe peoples. Their literacy rate is low, especially for those who live in rural areas. Radio is an excellent medium for telling stories, which are always welcome in African cultures. The producing of radio programs in this Fulbe dialect is in its early stages.

Pray for God to anoint and direct the content of the broadcasts as they are being produced. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give faith and open hearts to Fulbe people as they hear gospel messages.
