Ephesians 3:18-19a, NLT
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.

One of the things that we pray for is that despite the fact that the unreached peoples are in rebellion against God, He will woo them to His side because of His great love. What a gift this is! God is wooing a rebellious, undeserving people! But His love is so much greater than His wrath that He is willing to woo undeserving rebels.

Pray to understand more of His love as you pray for the Lord to draw the unreached to His kingdom.—KC

Turks in Turkey

by JWS

Except for the minarets and the mosque, it could be any street in any big city. Ipod-carrying young people hang together on street corners while they interact with their cell phones. Fashionably-dressed women in high heels and men in expensive suits rush by clutching their briefcases.
Most Turks live and work in big cities. The culture is secular, and materialism is the prevailing attitude. The Turkish government longs for the economic benefits and international recognition of becoming a full member of the European Union.
Most Turks (96.5 percent according to the Joshua Project), adhere to some level of Sunni Islam. As in many countries, only a few people practice all the tenets of their religion faithfully. What is now Turkey was the cradle of the Church, but the Church was replaced centuries ago by Islam. Bitter memories of historical conflicts with Christians remain alive in the minds of Turks, adding to their unwillingness to open their hearts to any ideas embraced by their enemies.
The Bible and the JESUS Film exist in the Turkish language. Ask the Lord for prayer warriors who will devote themselves to praying for the salvation of the Turkish people. Turkey’s location is important because it links the west (Europe) with the east (Asia).
