The world offers its version of peace, but it is merely an illusion. There is no true peace for anyone who does not put their faith in the One who created them and holds all the nations in His capable hands. What difference does it make when we throw away the bones?” “It makes a great deal of difference,” the father interjected. “It brings bad luck if we eat the fish with the bones.” “I thought bad luck came when we buttoned our shirts starting at the top,” the little girl said. The father nodded. “It does. There are many ways to bring bad luck. That is why we must be very careful.”

Most of the Buginese live in Indonesia, but more than 10,000 have migrated to Singapore. Wherever they are found, nearly 100 percent of the Buginese practice folk Islam.Learn more at joshuaproject.net
