In a way, the gospel is very simple. It boils down to faith that leads to action. Sometimes it takes nothing more than a gospel cassette, a CD, or some other evangelistic tool to get this simple message across to unreached peoples around the world. When people receive these materials, they must respond to them, either by accepting or rejecting the gospel message.
Thank God for the work of Global Recordings Network. Pray that GR workers will be discreet, yet bold as they take the simple gospel to the unreached peoples of the Arab World.
The goal of Global Recordings (GR) is that everyone will have the opportunity to hear the good news of Christ in his heart language. The main means of distribution of GR materials is person to person, and this is especially true in Muslim societies. God’s Word is powerful and truly “sharper than a two-edged sword,” and stories of its effectiveness demonstrate that power.
Karima, a Berber Kabyle lady from Tawrirt, was so abused by her husband that she could not comprehend of a God of love. But after listening to a GR tape, she was touched by it and accepted Christ. Abdella, the son of a Muslim imam, heard about Jesus on TV. He received Him in his heart, but didn’t know how to grow in his faith. He searched out a Christian organization that brought him a GR tape. He liked it and gave it to his sister who also began to follow Christ. In Algeria a café owner reluctantly agreed to keep 10 tapes and offer them to anyone asking for them. Amine asked for a tape in Kabyle. He took it home, and his mother listened to it and became a believer.
Pray that God’s arithmetic of each one reaching one will continue to multiply believers across the Muslim world as each gospel tape passes through multiple hands. Pray that the Holy Spirit will move in the hearts of Muslims who hear GR material and give them faith in the One born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.
