Trouble from evil thoughts. Spiritual blindness. These are the kinds of things suffered by those without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is only given to those who will submit themselves to the lordship of Christ. But how will they receive unless they ask? And how will they ask unless someone tells them of the One who offers living water?
Pray that the Dhusar people will see their spiritual needs and desire living water.
The name of the Dhusar people group comes from a legend about a woman being troubled by the devil. As the story goes, the woman went to Brahma, the Hindu god of creation, to tell him about this problem. She wept as she spoke to him. As she wept, a river miraculously appeared, and Brahma named the river Vasudhara. The Dhusars derive their name from Vasudhara because they live along the banks of the Vasudhara River.
While the tale of the weeping woman is just fiction, it holds some parallels to the spiritual condition of the Dhusar Bania people. They are, in fact, troubled by the devil. As Hindus, they worship many false gods and are blinded to the truth of Jesus Christ. According to Joshua Project, there are few if any followers of Christ among them.
When will the river of life flow among the Dhusar people? Perhaps when persistent, fervent intercession, even with tears shed, is made on their behalf.
Pray for the Lord to lead the Dhusar out from the dominion of darkness, into the light of His Son. Pray for many Dhusar people to believe in Jesus Christ and for rivers of living water to flow from within them.
