Once Satan, the strong man, is bound, then it is time to plunder what he has taken through theft and deceit. How do we bind the strong man? Through prayer! And that is what you are doing each day as you intercede for the nations in the GPD.
Pray that each of us will be faithful to intercede each day for those who remain captive to the strong man. Pray that God will answer our prayers and that unevangelized people groups will be given an opportunity to hear the gospel and flee to the loving arms of Jesus Christ.
But no one can enter the strong man’s house and plunder his property unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house” (Mark 3:27).
Devil spirits, as the Cambodian Pnong people call them, control the lives of the Pnong minority group, resulting in the sacrifice of dogs, chickens, and even buffalo to appease them. These precious people need to be set free and learn that Jesus Christ has already sacrificed Himself for their salvation and deliverance from the spirit world.
New Life Fellowship of Churches in Cambodia is taking the gospel message to the remote Pnong villages. One of its new outreach points is in Borbuoy, a village along the road to Mundulkiri Province. On several visits the missionaries have done outreach to children and evangelism work. Another Pnong village is Sre Noun in the jungle. Fortunately both village chiefs have welcomed the missionaries and invited them back. As is the case in many cultures, often the key to acceptance of the gospel message is the chief’s approval. So far none have made decisions for Christ, but they are hearing the good news, and they are welcoming God’s messengers.

Pray that the Lord will bind the demonic spirits controlling the Pnong people. Pray for their deliverance and for a mighty movement of His Holy Spirit which will draw all Pnong people to Christ, resulting in the extension of His Kingdom.
