1 Timothy 4:8
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

All of us need physical training if we are going to stay healthy. This is one of the key ways we maintain our physical health. But Paul makes it clear that godliness has eternal value which is even better!

Pray that you will be able to maintain a balance between your physical and your spiritual health. Thank the Lord for people like Kreg Mallow who have found that balance.

Missionary Biography Kreg and Jenny Mallow

by KC

Kreg Mallow loves sports, but he loves Jesus even more. Born in Independence, Missouri, in 1962 to a Christian family, he was baptized at age 10. But he was in high school before he really committed his life to Jesus through the ministry of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Though he loved wrestling and football, everything had to be under the lordship of Jesus Christ now, even his love of sports. This new love for the Lord gave him the perspective he needed.

In college Kreg graduated with a BS in business administration. Then he studied dentistry at Loyola University Dental School in Chicago. Over the next couple of years Kreg felt God’s call to serve Him in mission. Mission conferences and short term mission trips helped direct him. The Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course had a tremendous impact on his life. Later that same year, Kreg met Samphos, now known as Jenny, at a Chicago church service. The next year they were married, and they began a ministry in Cambodia in 1991.
