Exodus 36:5b
"The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done."

This is the kind of problem we want to have! There was too much being brought into the Lord’s storehouse. The people of Israel were so grateful for God’s deliverance that they were willing to give their all for the tabernacle. Many view Bangladesh as a poor country with not much to offer. But when the hand of God transforms a nation, that nation can become a source of both spiritual and material blessings to others.

Pray that believers in Bangladesh will bless the Lord by giving generously of their time and money to His radio work.

Radio Ministries

How missions has changed in the last 200 years! Originally it involved traveling for months aboard a ship to reach a foreign shore, struggling to get acclimated and learn the language, and then trying to reach individuals to gain their trust enough to share Christ with them. By the end of their careers -and often their lives-these missionaries could sometimes only count a handful of believers after arduous years of service.

But with the advent of modern technology that continues to astound us with its yearly advances, modern mission outreach has gone global in many ways. There is a 50/50 joint venture between Far Eastern Broadcasting Association (FEBA) Radio in the UK and IBRA Media in Sweden to broadcast over short wave radio in the Muselmani Bangla, the Muslim Bengali dialect. These radio broadcasts have the potential to reach about 140 million people. They broadcast 15 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening, seven days a week. They cooperate with “people on the ground” who are believers from a Muslim background who produce the programs and do follow-up. There has been a remarkable response with more than 4,000 individuals, mostly over cell phone conversations! This has also led to a few small house churches.
