Psalms 14:4
"All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one."

What a reminder of the true nature of man! We are all sinners, and we all need a savior, no matter how “good” we may appear. God has provided one way out of this helpless dilemma. The only Savior, Jesus Christ, paid for every sin. How all the nations need to hear of His salvation!

Pray that believers will use this Christmas season to tell the nations of the savior born to take away the sins of the world. Pray that the unreached peoples will accept that they have sinned, and that only Jesus can reconcile them to the Father.

Thai People in Finland

“How can any place be this cold?” thought Yupin, an ethnic Thai university student in Finland as she walked to class across the campus quad. Coming from a country that has two seasons, hot and hotter, she never imagined what it would be like in the snowy cold of northern Europe.

Nor was she prepared for the coldness of her Finnish classmates. Finnish students often feel uncomfortable around foreigners. Despite being in Finland for a year, no one had invited Yupin to their house or to their church, even though Finland has more Christians than many other European countries. Though Yupin had a good command of the Finnish language, she was isolated and lonely. Her only companions were other Thai Buddhists.

There are many Thai students in Finland’s universities, because of that country’s outstanding colleges and the encouragement of the Finnish government. Few are hearing the life-changing gospel there.

Pray that God will raise up a campus ministry to target the Thai students in Finland for outreach. Ask the Lord to open the hearts of Thai students to the message of salvation. Pray that God will mobilize the Church in Finland to reach out to Thai college students at Finland’s universities. May the Lord one day have a rich harvest among the Thai students in Finland.-WK
