Can you imagine that? Your prayers are like a fragrant offering to the Lord! This is our blessing to the Almighty Creator! No matter how young or old you are, no matter how rich or poor you may be, your prayers are a sweet fragrance to the King of the Universe. When the time is right, He will pour this sweet incense over the nations, and some of them will turn to Him. If that doesn’t motivate you to pray, nothing will!
Pray that we may remember what our prayers are to Him. Pray with new confidence.

Yet despite its own economic straits, Tajikistan sent aid to earthquake victims in Sichuan, China in May.
Most Tajiks are farmers and pastoralists living in extended families ruled by patriarchs. They love music so much that they put the Koran to music. Most are Sunni Muslims, though their beliefs are tainted by superstitions.
The Bible is available in Tajik. Tajik national television has broadcast the JESUS Film, and HCJB and Trans-World Radio broadcast in Tajik. Pray that the Tajik New Testament would be set to Tajik music and that Tajiks would embrace faith in Christ for their own people. Pray that multi-ethnic churches would develop in the capital city of Dushanbe, and that they would plant daughter churches in rural areas. Pray that believers would be faithful under pressure from Muslim relatives, and that key Tajik leaders would follow Jesus. Pray that Jesus would reveal himself in mighty ways and that many Tajiks will soon become a part of the Church.-TP
