Many scholars have identified the “scroll” as the “title deed to rule the earth.” By virtue of His death and resurrection, Jesus has already gained victory over the god of this world. How we rejoice in this victory! Now we must remember that missionary outreach to frontier people groups is an operation to consolidate the gains already won in previous battles. “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me,” Jesus said in challenging His disciples. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.”
Jesus, we acknowledge Your authority and heed Your command!
Can one person make a difference in the world? Through one man (Adam), sin entered the world. One Godman (Jesus), paid sin’s debt. One man in the 14th century, Yusuf Sindhi, converted several thousand Hindu families to Islam. Yusuf Sindhi called these converts the “Momis” (meaning exemplary Muslims); and over the years, this people group became known as Memons.
Others have dubbed them as “the sailor businessmen of India.” Memon trade spread from their native Gujarat (in western India) to East Asia and Africa in the 18th century. Their current population of four million is distributed globally, and most are successful financially due to their attention to details and outstanding skill in management. Memons are philanthropists and set up welfare systems wherever they live. They acknowledge the physical needs of others, but they don’t see their own need for spiritual rebirth.
Will these “exemplary Muslims” ever become exemplary followers of Christ? Perhaps one righteous person’s fervent prayers could change the course of Memon history. Are you that person?

Ask God to open the spiritual eyes of Memon people so they see their need for Christ. Pray for the salvation of Memons, so that they can be ambassadors for Christ wherever they go.-AK
