Heb. 12:1
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

This verse follows the long description of those who by faith conquered and of those who by faith endured. All were faithful witnesses in their day, and all watch to see if we also will be faithful witnesses. About 10,000 people groups without a church still wait for us to take the Great Commission to them. Yet how easy to become encumbered with cares and pleasures and riches-things which can slow our race to a crawl.

Dear Lord, teach us to “throw off” the hindrances. We want to run!

NK Missions Efforts

Yesterday we learned about the prayer needs of North Korea. Today we will pray for efforts to reach into this insulated Northeast Asian nation through prayer and outreach.

The World Network for North Korea Missions (NK Missions) started in 2001 with an international effort to connect and activate Christians interested in reaching North Korea. The network currently consists of over 2,000 people in over 30 countries and over a dozen monthly prayer groups in several countries. Every year NK Missions has sponsored three international prayer events for North Korea.

NK Missions is actively working together with a large network of mission organizations engaged in reaching North Korea. The network believes North Korea can open up at any moment and is actively equipping the Church to get ready. For more information about joining this network or participating in the international prayer events, please visit: www.nkmissions.com.
