Proverbs 11:2

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

Let’s face it; the Chinese in Tanzania have a lot for which to be proud. They are among the best businessmen in the country, and many have become rich. But any culture is on the wrong track when they fall into pride. Traditional Chinese religion does not focus on the God of creation; and thus they have no way to measure how small they are compared to Him. The tragic results, according to this proverb, is disgrace, something the Chinese avoid at all cost.
