Song of Solomon 8:7

Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.

This book of the Bible not only gives a verbal description of the intensity of love, but it explains the value of it. The love that one has for their spouse pales by comparison with the priceless love that God has for humanity. Yet most people, including the noble Bahais, go through their entire lives not knowing about His unique and unfathomable love.
