Proverbs 16:4

The Lord works out everything for His own ends-even the wicked for a day of disaster.

We live in a fallen world. There are some, like Paul, who will respond to the Lord’s promptings. Perhaps some of the people who are persecuting Ndengereko believers fall into this category. But it’s also very possible that they aren’t. In such a case, they will face a day of disaster, just as David describes many times in the Psalms. Yet it is right to pray for our enemies, and those who are now the enemies of our Lord.
